Default Fix It Ticket...

has anyone ever been pulled over and told you have non-TUV approved mods? what did you do about it? Got a buddy who is being told he has to have his car reinspected because he changed a BMW over to lugnuts instead of lugbolts. anyway to fight it?

I am going to ask my brother in laws about this. I got a fix it ticket last time I was stationed in baumholder. I had a burned out headlight and was driving home on a Sunday. All I had to do was go to the inspection guy and have him stamp the ticket and then mail it in.

no spacers, was initially pulled over for the fact that it is basically a full race car leaving the nurburgring not on a trailer. white 3 series with takata green wheels, full roll cage, rusted trunk. so they pull him with basic saftey inspection in mind. and that is when they noticed the lug nuts. they also said that his carbon sunroof delete panel was a detriment to the safety and rigidity of the car.

Those guys sound like idiots and don't know what they are talking about. Just get it reinspected on post or take it to a TUV place and have them look at it.

Thats the wanna-bee ring Polizei there trying to act like they are the shiz nit......
they actually have lists of things to specificly look for at the ring-cars, cause they don't have a clue themselves........ and guess what they couldn't do the math between the roll-cage and the modded sunroof :P

Don't have any experience with tuv though but i hope he can get some TUV approval for the longer studds, rest is BS!
