Default Exhaust shop question

well my exhaust failed inspection pretty horribly (SEE and 105 DB) so i am going to take it to a shop and put a muffler on it and have it hang out the back again. Does anyone have experience with german muffler shops and how much some basic piping costs to do?

im at hohenfels...so the middle of nowhere. Im gonna have the shop run 3" piping so that my car doesnt lose to much power going smaller. I would agree with the borrowing a stock exhaust but my wife wants the car to be legal and i guess something that loud isnt practical for long trips lol. Sadly the muffler im planning on getting is a megan racing coffee can. Im hoping that in the end it sounds like a car that i saw in washington cause it was actually pretty deep and didnt sound ricey. well that and it has a silencer...just in case. we will see tho.

I know have the maxx fab JDM single exit exhaust. It has the can and it sounds good. Not as deafening as my SEE but load enough.

The limit at Vogelweh is 95db. I just got by with 94.6. I'm glad they don't measure WOT dbs!
