Man, how about a suckfest!! I just got back from leave and found out my passenger side window got busted in and my new GPS got stolen! I should have taken it out but I totally forgot in the rush to go to the states for leave! The only good thing is I made a deal with the guy to help me put on the stage1 ECU, WGA, boost controller and repaint the calipers, plus I got a turbo v6 peugeot (sp?) from USAA. Trying to look on the bright side!

I hate hearing about these cases. Yeah you should have taken it with you but what's done is done. You'll know next time. Devices like that are a magnet for bottom feeding petty thieves. Most are drug addicts and can't seem to help themselves when they look insided someone's car and see something of value. You can always try hiding it in the trunk. Out of sight out of mind.

Yeah..You gotta watch out..Was told here in Germany to take it down when done..because even if you take your GPS but leave your stand in the car..They see and know that most people leave them in their glove box or under seat..So the German Police are warning people to take it all down..Big hit item right now..
