Question SRT-4 ACR 2009 autocross set-ups

I started a couple of threads about SRT-4 ACR Autocross setups over the years and wanted to start another one for 2009

Link's to old threads:
SRT-4 ACR 2008 autocross set-ups
SRT4 ACR setup for Solo 2 Nationals

Here's my setup for running in G-Stock for 2009

1.Tire Brand - Kumho v710
2.Tires Size - 245/45/16 front and 225/50-16 rear
3.Pressure front - 35 to 38 psi (36psi)
4.Pressure rear - 42 to 44 psi (44psi)
5.Same Size tires front and rear - No
6.Front sway bar (stock, larger, smaller) - Hotchkiss 29 mm hollow
7.Front brake pads (Stock vs aftermarket) - HP+
8.Rear brake pads (Stock vs aftermarket) - HP
9.Brake Fluid - stock for now
10.Front Camber - negative 2.1 w/ 245/45-16s, down from -2.4 last year (too much lost braking/acceleration @ 2.4 IMHO)
11.Front Toe (Toe in vs toe out and how much) - 1/16" in
12.Rear Camber (0 degrees vs negative) - negative 1.0 degrees (last years 0 degrees could rub slightly on fender lip)
13.Rear Toe (Toe in vs toe out and how much) - 5/16" out
14.Struts brand - KONIs (Nick's aka "fastneons" ProParts modified set)
15.Front Stuts (full stiff, somewhere in between, full soft) - 1/2 turn off full stiff
16.Rear Struts (full stiff, somewhere in between, full soft) - 1/4 turn off full stiff.

I'm no expert by any means but, from the few autox's I've participated in, my first thought is that the car would be one tail-happy bitch with the larger front tires and higher tire pressure in the rear.

I have an '05 with Mopar S3 CO's, full prothane bushing kit, and 17X8 OZ Ultraleggeras with 225/45/17 Dunlop Direzza Z1s all around. Understeer is not really an issue. On my last run, I think I was running 28 psi in the rear and the tires weren't rolling over too far.

Another thought: Again, I'm no expert so this may be a totally naive question but can you change out your front sway bar and increase tire/wheel width and remain in G stock?

Front sway bar is fine. You can have any width tire on stock sized wheel. So 16x7 for an ACR. Also, can change struts, but must have stock springs, and can change the cat-back.

Cool. I think you could be really competitive in GS with the right setup.

Like I said, my first thought was that your tail would be all over the place. I assume you've driven on the setup you described? If so, what's it like?

Definitely not too tail happy with that setup, although I haven't driven on it, I have been on 245 225 staggered before and it feels good. Right now I have 245's all around, but different tires between the front and back. In fact, compared to other fwd cars in different classes, I'm sure it's a very conservative set up. It's auto-x, not road racing, so in a fwd car, you need the tail to be very happy to get around those tight turns. Locally, I know someone who only ran R-comps in the front, street tires in the back. I would never consider driving a fully setup car for auto-x, especially fwd, on a road course, it would be impossible to control.
