Default SCCA AutoCross Class

When all I had was an intake I was in STU. Now I have a bigger intercooler, hard pipes and a hks blow off. I will have a AGP WGA by then. What class will this put me in. 05 SRT4 ACR with stock bbs wheels. I'm guessing I will be in a class that allows race tires and if so I won't be very competitive in the class.

Yup, as neither the new wastegate nor the BOV are allowed in Street Touring, nor in Street Prepared.
The good news is that you can now start REMOVING some stuff from the car.

CSP? I'm pretty sure all of that is allowed, don't need to go to street mod, even though there is prob more competition there, and the pax index is only a .002 difference.

I could very well be wrong, but I think the BOV and WGA put him in SM. Hell the Mopar rice plate puts you in SM.

That's my interpretation of the rules for 06, the last time I remember going through the exact wording to see where I'd go.

Stage 1 or an SCT flash using stock wga could be used in CSP though, I believe.

You can now adjust boost in Street Prepared, as of 07, so the wga or a boost controller is legal. As far as the BOV theres a very clear section where they define a blow off valve and pop off valve. A BOV is something that limits boost pressure, and is not legal in SP. A pop off valve is clarified as what we know to be the common blow off valve, and is legal. I am positive about these 2 things, and think your car is legal for CSP. There were 2 of us in CSP with stage 2 SRT's with the mopar bov, we both started in SM until we confirmed the rules had changed. I posted a message on sccaforums for clarification sometime last year and CSP is the result.

THat system is such crap. It's all up to the nonor system. I know a guy in an 07 WRX that has an STI swap with a COBB Stage 2 & he ran in STU. All they really looked at was he was on Azenis.

Locally, yes, you can probably have some illegal things and get away with it. You better believe people are checking everything at national events though.
