Sorry to hear about your wife...hope she feels better.
I am guessing, I will need to run in the 2:04 area which is 5 seconds better than I ran last year. And, although since last year, I have improved everything (more power, brakes, tires and suspension), it still will be a struggle.
Haven't tested the DSP yet since I have been travelling a bunch for work. Hopefully before the first time attack.
I ran a 2:04 last fall at the SLB. Granted I could have used more time on the track and the 280 treadwear tires may have left a little more on the table as well.
I started with 2:07's in my very firs session on the track and took about a second off with each session. Then I talked with a semi-pro driver at the event and as soon as I started putting all his theories into practice, I consistently slowed down every time I hit the track!
Next time I do it on my own!

Yes, going both days and wow, 12 cars in FWD Stock class...should be lots of fun.

I checked the list against the Super Lap Battle and no similar names... Just watch out for those Evasive Motorsports guys!
I'll be at VIR this weekend, but keep us updated with times! And remember, only the Time Attack session counts. Make sure you save enough and prepare properly for that one session each day. All the practices don't mean a thing if you don't put down a good lap in the TA session.

Good luck!
Yes, none of the names were ones that I recognized from previous events.
Always wanted to run VIR, here it is a beautiful track. Thanks and have fun.

My SRT-4 and I are having a love/hate relationship with a little more on the hate side right now. Car ran great on Saturday. Put down a very low 2:09 with a decent amount of traffic.
Went out in the first practice session on Sunday and ran a very low 2:09 so figured there was a low 2:07 in the works which I would have been happy with. Went out in the second practice session and about the 3rd lap, heard a pop and lost boost.
Found that the hotside hard pipe had popped off the coupler going to the intercooler. Put it back on, tightened it down in time for the 1st time attack session. Popped off again in the same spot on the first lap.
Tightened it back down in time for the practice session before the final time attack session. In the practice session, 1st lap, heard a pop and lost boost again. This time the coupler had popped off the intercooler (same side, different spot) and unfortunately, this required me to remove the front splitter to tighten it back down.
By then, missed the second time attack session. So, had as good of time as I could with not being able to lay down one time attack lap.
Oh well, looking forward to Willow at the end of May.
BTW - fastest FWD street class car ran a very low 2:00 (yes, almost broke the 2 minute barrier)
