Default rear camber moving around under load PICS!!!

Ok ran the car in it's latest set up last weekend and dude got some pics for me.














As you can see the loaded outside tire on the rear is going to positive camber by alot in the corners. What can i do to stop this? The car was really loose and a handful for me but I thought it was the new alignment with toe out in the rear but now I'm not so sure its not the tire just loosing grip because it is rolled over so far.

What it is
05' SRT-4 ACR
Stage 3 w/ toys plus other goodies
Stage CO's
LCA energy bushings
Hotchkis sway bars with the rear set soft
17X8 ASA front wheels with 254/45-17 hoosier A6's
17X7 SSR rear wheels with 225/50-17 hoosier R6's
Front is -1.5 deg camber with 1/8 total toe out
Rear is -1 deg camber and 1/8 total toe out

I think it may have alittle to much body roll still also. How much would I have to go up on the spring rates to make a diffrence on the body roll? Cars not super fast but it's faster than me so far. On a local level I'm in the hunt every week but am yet to score a win in SM. I did get a FTD at a FtWayne event a few weeks ago but I was the only SM car.

WOW.

you need to get some rear control arms with heim joints instead of rubber bushings. Something under there is flexing a lot. Is your camber different after a run/event or is it still at -1°?

Notice the exhaust is shifted over as well. Could this be chasis flex?

It looks like it returns to -1 deg after the run. I checked all that stuff after running because I always suspect the alignment to move after a few runs after a fresh alignment. Steering wheel is in the same spot also so the front didn't move much if any.

So who is making good rear control arms these days?

The exhaust is floating on rubber hangers so it can move. I'm sure that at over 1G lateral force is enough to make the exhaust move some. It also seems to recenter it's self after the car stops moving.

weird.. i got problem that after alignment rear goes back negative..
cant get it to stay where I leave it.. one person said for me to try new cam bolts..
I would think stiffer sway bar.. cuz i though people said that soft sway bar allows camber change..

Had the same issue a few weeks ago at the auto x and it completely mystified everyone at the event. On the way home I had a blowout on the right rear tire when the tire struck the spring perch. Turned out that the culprit was one of the crappy factory bushings rotting away so that my camber bolts wouldn't tighten down properly. It seemed fine when I was parked, but I was getting positive camber similar to yours when I raced it.

Your camber adjustment should be between the knuckle and the strut. There are no bushings in there. which bushings are you talking about? The ones on the inboard side of the lower rear control arms?

Read Richard Worley's post here from almost 5 years ago about rear suspension on the cars at high speed.

SRT4 rear suspension/bump steer

Then do the following:
1. MannyZ rear lateral control arms (4) with heim joints (8).
2. Mopar rear tension struts (2) with stiffer urathane bushings at the forward chassis mount.
3. Prothane rear bayonete bushings (2) between knuckles and tension struts.
4. Coil-overs with stiffer springs to balance the car (and get the car balanced).
5. Hotchkiss sway bars (front and rear) if only to balance the front and rear of the car (i.e. not just a fatter rear sway which will upset the balance).
5. Slightly wider (225 x 45 x 17) wheels and ultra high performance tyres (for track, but not for rainy commutes).

I did a search and found some pics. The mopar ones still have bushings in them.
