So if the ACR did move to GS would be competive there? If it is maybe I should start looking for a stock one.
The situation is no different in GS vs. DS, just look at NT results for the last two years. The car is competitive with any other uber-sport compact if you take advantage of all the allowances available and do some testing.
I just do not understand why the SEB/SAC is doing this. The fricken MCS belongs in DS, not GS. Why are they so dead set on killing off a whole class of affordable cars (the bottom feeders and yesterday's hotrods in GS)?
I suppose there is the argument that there will never be a sport compact car that can beat the ITR with today's crash standards and NVH requirements. I guess, those things force manufacturers to make overweight, large cars these days.
what would all of this leave to DS? If you move the ITR to BS and keep the forced induction fwd cars in DS (moving the mcs to DS as well) this seems like it would even things out. I could see ES and FS needing some work, but is there really anything that could be done to expand the models that are capable of winning?
So there's no proposal to move the MCS out of GS?!?!? What the heck is gonna be left in DS if all this stuff passes?

It looks like DS would be BMW e46 330 ZHP and 330Ci. The WRX is still there, and I really wonder if someone put the time and money into a new WRX if they could win the class at nationals.
Can we impeach the SEB? I'm really sick of the mistakes and wrong direction they keep making. I even have friends on the SEB, and while I try to be a nice guy, they're gonna get an earful next time I see them. I don't even have a DS car anymore, but still, these are stupid decisions, and as RE of Detroit Region, it affects our members.
And yes, I do miss my ACR. Really wishing I hadn't sold it, hope the new owner is enjoying it.

What sucks the most is that I'll have to cut out new letters! My letters and numbers took about 7 hours to draw and cut out! Also, the letter "G" doesn't look as cool as the letter "D"!
But seriously.. lol This sucks because I'm planning on staying in Stock. Do you guys think the SRT-4 will still be competitive in G-Stock?

just compare your times to a mini cooper s. if you run better times than a prepped mcs then this can be a good thing for you.
Two events ago, a mcs ran .845 seconds faster than me...
But I was running 215/50/17 Kumho ASX all seasons and the Mini was using either low profile Falken Azenis Rt615's or Bridgestone Potenza RE01-R's. Do you think I would have been a second faster on low profile street tires? If so, then I might be faster than a prepped mini..
