Default HELP ACR Autocrossers!

Does anyone have the FSM procedure for slotting the front struts on ACR's? I am looking for the newer one that allows slotting both the upper and lower parts...

Where would one find it if they were a tech at a dealership with access to the FSM procedures electronically?

Thanks!!!

Go to the "service" tab, then techconnect. Next, look up a 2005 PL body, then click the "service info" tab. Go to, group 2 (suspension), then "wheel alignment", then "standard procedure", then "wheel alignment" sub-file again. In the right window, you will now see the service procedure. The part of it you want, is titled ADDITIONAL CAMBER ADJUSTMENT BOLT PACKAGE INSTALLATION - ACR PACKAGE And is about half way down the page. It also has clickable links with images to show were to grind.

Nick

P.S. If you want, I could just pm you a link

Jason, did you get this done?

Did you decide what tires you are running for the National Tour?

I tried the 245/45-16 on the back of my car. They seam to fit. Didn't try under racing conditions, just around the block.

My old 245/45-16 R6's just touched the bottom of the struts (using 1/4" offset) when we put them on the rear, so we're going with 225/50-16 A6's in back and 245/45 A6's up front. I actually drove them around the block too just to be sure they wouldn't work, and the strut took nearly a 1 inch swath off of the inside edge of the tire, leaving rubber shavings up under the strut for me to pick off afterwards.

Are you registered for the Hoosier contingency program Ken? And what do you think about DS, lots of familiar faces huh... Final Entry List

By the way, my 245/45-16 street tires - Hankook rs2's - DO fit on the rear with a 1/4" of offset, but the Hoosiers in that size are just too wide for the rear....

Specs for both 245/45-16's

Tire -------- Diameter - Section Width - Tread Width
Hoosier R6/A6 - 24.7 ----- 10.1 -------- 9.2
Hankook RS2's - 24.6 ------ 9.6 -------- 8.7

I'm surprised your 245/45-16 Hoosiers fit on the rear Ken, what do u have for camber in the rears? If it's 0, then I could see how. I'm pretty sure I've got around -1.0 degrees.

And does anyone know when online registration closes for the Milwaukee National Tour?
