Default Feb 7-8, 2009 LAS VEGAS

Calling all Srt-4 owners in Vegas. I’m looking for a little help this coming weekend on showing these Porsche guys what we can really do. I will be going on Sunday the 8th if anyone is interested in going.

Events Calendar of the Las Vegas Region Porsche Club of America

Hope to see you there!

What a great time! It was raining for the first half of the day, so pushing the Srt on the track in the rain was a little sketchy as the backend had the nasty tendency to break out. Even so, I was only passed one time throughout the entire day, and that was by a Porsche 911 Turbo in the rain. After our session I spoke with him and he said that he had trouble catching me and had to turn on his traction control to push the car to its limit. Once the track was dry later in the day I was pulling some nice times and taking down a lot of Porsches an M3, RX-7, BMW Z4, New Mustang GT, Corvette, and the list goes on… all with an ACR with only intake, exhaust, and plug wires. Everyone thought I had the stage 2 or 3 kit, haha. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy!

It was at Spring Mountain Raceway. Thanks for the response. It looks like you race as well based on your signature pic. Where have you taken your car?

Yhea, the RX was very nice. The car only had something like 30,000 miles on it. The owner said he bought it from a collector but paid an arm and a leg for it. He put a challenge, especially when I got on his bumper. He was about even on the straights and was able to push the car so hard in the corners that I remember seeing him drift a little. But he couldn’t keep the pace for very long. Once I got past him he disappeared from the rearview shortly thereafter. I also remember him throwing fire balls out of the exhaust when he was shifting, is that normal for RX7s??
