if you can get your tires and wheels to fit under the ACR struts they are nice due to the lowering of the roll center.

235/40-17 MIGHT fit below the ACR struts, but if you go to the Koni/GC setup then it doesn't matter what strut body you use (SRT or regular neon) because the perch will be cut down to fit the GC spring perch on.

Ahh, just get plain old Neon struts and stick Koni inserts in them if you want to go that route. Probably cheaper and will perform better than the Tokicos that came with ACRs. (edit: the reason I say this is I believe the dimensions of the ACR struts are actually the same as standard Neons as opposed to the taller SRT-4)

The 235/40/17 Star Spec is shorter than a 225/50/16 Kumho 710 so it ought to fit. The 235/45/17 Star Spec would not fit, however.

As for the suspension set up - are you sugesting Koni inserts then trash that set up and get coil overs or does Koni offer a coilover set up?

How will those dunlops hold up for daily driving? 6 to 8K miles a year. What size should I get for stock ACR wheels? (16X7) Car is on coilovers and has camber caster plates now so I have plenty of room between the wheel and the struts.

for DD use the 225/50-16 is a safe bet. It's also the biggest 16" size available. I don't see why you couldn't get 8-12k out of a set. Hell, I got 15k on a set of RT-615s.
