Default which class does stage 3r fall into

After participating at a local autox school I would like to get more involved, however I cannot figure out which class I would fall into. Any input would appreciated. Here is my mod list:

Mopar stage 3r
Upgraded sway bars
Mopar CAI
Maxxfab 02 - hi flo cat - borla exhaust
tires = michelin pilot sports

thanks!

If you mean the stage 3r COs, then you'd be in STU or CSP (DSP next year). I'm not sure about the aftermarket O2/cat though for STU. May be illegal. Then you'd be in CSP. If you mean the stage 3 turbo then it's SM.

just go out to have fun. There's no way that you'll be competitive in class. Street Mod allows so much stuff that you'd be up against supercharged M3s, 400+hp evo/sti, etc, which all will have incredibly stiff suspension and huge, sticky tires.

SM - that's what I'm in.

But here STU has stiffer competition and somehow I did better in SM than STU.

So it looks like "ECU" swaps are allowed - which means we get to have boost and fuel controllers and still be in SP, right?

I think it depends on what you're using to control them. ECU modify/replace doesn't necessarily mean you can add a piggyback ECU or boost controller. Stage 1 and SCT Flash are good. Stage 2 is questionable because of no mention of injectors. That also means Stage 1 for '03 is questionable. Stage 3 is a no go because of the new turbo. Bypass/diverter valve = WGA?

I should have said quick and dirty... You'll need to consult the rule book (or an expert on the rule book) for a more comprehensive list of what can and can't be done.
