Is it possible to remove the fog lights and use the port as a brake cooling duct? Anything I would need to make this work?
I'm speaking for road racing application, not DD.

The issue with using the fog light holes comes down to aerodynamics. There simply isn't any flow and you won't get the kind of cooling you want. The air is flowing across the openings rather than into them.
This was confirmed both on a computer and in real-life application.
If I were going to do it, I'd go with 1lap's setup as he's got a ton of testing (and racing) on it...
remember that dude who made the front splitter out of fiberglass/plywood that had an integrated brake duct built into it? it was sick, and the most functional design yet. didn't rfr make something like that too?
in autocrossing you don't need ANY cooling. You won't be able to get enough heat in the brakes to even think of causing brake fade. For road course use I would look into a setup that draws air from just under the front lip. a 1.5 to 2" tall by 8" long box would draw more than enough air into a duct to let you cool things down. One thing you do need to look out for is overcooling the brakes and cooling them unevenly. I know some members here have had that happen and had to reposition their ducts to get things more even across the whole rotor.
