Default Autocrossing setups??

What's your autocrossing setup? I have a new suspension kit and I need help in knowing what setup is best to go with. I currently have BC racing coilovers with camber plates., hotchkis front and rear sway bars, all on stock tires/rims. I would like to know what setups do other autocrossers run, as far as camber alignments to sway bar settings, and especially dampening setting on an adjustable dampening coilover.

thanks in advance

max camber in front, 1/8" toe out, 0.5° less camber in the rear, adjust damping to suit your driving style and car balance. If you're still understeering on corner entry stiffen the rear. If you understeer on exit soften the front. If you still understeer on exit or have trouble getting power down go to a stock front swaybar. Run the rear at race setting. This will get you into a very close ballpark on things, adjust toe and stuff to get the balance you want.

I have the inverted BCs and the hotchkis bars front and rear.

Run the front dampers at 8
Rear dampers at 1 (hardest)

have the rear sway bar in the second notch.

Front end is 2 degrees camber 1/8" toe out

Rear is 1/2 degree camber zero toe.

I do not run street tires though. I am running hankook z212 245/40/17 on a 8" enkei rpf rim.

This setup produced one fastest cars at our first autocross event last sunday.

I won't bother to write it out again as I'm running the same parameters on my stock setup.

I just got my Autocrossing setup. I will try it out next event in one week.
engine: AEM intake, ignition (coilpack, wires, plugs)
Suspension: BC racing coilovers, with all camber plates, PWerks strut tower bars, hotchkis swaybars.
Wheels: Stockers on BF Goodrich KDW2

Alignment.
front: -3.00 camber, +1/8 inch toe out
rear: -1.5 camber, -1/16 inch toe in
going to put rear sway on racing setting.

Tires, I'll probably pump em up to about 38-40psi

thats it. yay!

Frankly, I think there's plenty of power with a stock setup. The trick is to get enough tire to put that power down.

The single most important part is the driver (seat time). Then tires (maybe 25% as important as the driver), then car setup (very small part) THEN mods (minuscule portion of the equation).

And at the end of the day, modifications will likely move you to a class where you won't be competitive unless you've completed most (if not all) of the modifications allowed for that class.

I have the SM setup as follows:

Stage 2 /w toys
Stage 3 Coils -1.5 front -1.0 rear
Hotchkis front and rear
DC strut tower braces front and rear
Rear tensioners
all Poly bushings
Solid MMs and trans mount
Mopar Exhaust
Mopar Short throw shifter
Mopar BOV (plate)
Mopar CAI
Hahn Racecraft FMIC

Tweaked the boost to 21 spike 19 hold on stock turbo and I run BFG R1 slicks on 17x7.5 rims. I can beat most SM guys, only have a hard time with exceptionally well setup evos/stis.

I might be missing a mod or two, but is the just of it. You get the picture.
