Very Nice! That's one of my bucket list tracks that I am still waiting to get on! Most of the rest have been driven already!
It was on my California/Nevada list, lol! The corkscrew isn't as crazy as I thought it would be. There's a lot of compression there so your car just gets sucked into the ground...pretty cool. Thanks!!! first and second pics are great for showing that elevation change
Yeah, it's pretty drastic. You especially notice on the climb up to the corkscrew. It's a BIG hill.

Dcsax, Awesome pictures!! The car is looking GREAT!!!! Love the hood. I cant wait to see the video.
Thanks, video will be posted as soon as I can get to it. For those wondering, the Air Induction hood makes a big difference in under-hood temps. Approx 20 degrees cooler on my car. I can't get the car to break 200 degrees in 90+ degree weather. That's running it HARD and with stock cooling, stock T-stat and orange water. Now, the only time I use my fan switch mod is at idle.

![]() Thought ya'll might find this one amusing. First run on my Hankook R-Comps. Like I said in my first post, this was only my second autocross in my car and third I've ever run. So there is definitely a lot of room for me to grow.

![]() Ill bet that got the adrenaline going a bit, ehh? I know about that all too well. One was going about 85mph around turn 6 at Laguna Seca. I ended up in the dirt a little bit from the wall. The other was at Reno Fernley Raceway around turn 23 at approx. the same speed. I over corrected the slide, and it whipped around the opposite way which put me in the dirt. Needless to say, those experiences taught me how to keep it under control. I have gotten the ass end a bit loose since then and kept it under control.

Just got back from Infineon Raceway last night.
![]() ![]() ^^^ ![]() ![]() Video Infineon Raceway Fast lap Nov 10 2012 - YouTube Then here is my best lap at Thunderhill back in May. I wish I wouldnt have lifted at the end when I saw the checkered flag. If I would have powered through to start finish like I normally do before braking, I might have even had a 2:10. Also, I cant wait to get back there because my braking has improved A LOT since in this video. I am interested to see what my next lap time is. Thunderhill Raceway Fast Lap May 19 2012 - YouTube Oh and sorry that the audio is so low, but I am having trouble adjusting my contour cameras audio setting. I have it at full blast, and this is still all I get. If you have a set of computer speakers or good headphones, you can here it better.

I had plenty of room once I had gone off the pavement though, so I can only imagine what it's like when you see a wall coming at you. Although, once I had gotten out of the car, my buddy was wondering why I was shaking so bad haha.

Run street tires until you've have more seat time. Would hate for you to ruin a set of R-comps so early in the game.

I have some pic's coming from my Road Atlanta Track day last Saturday...but here is video that I took.
The day did not go anywhere near the way it was supposed to go. After my 1st real run, my waterpump decided it was working to hard, and started crying...day over.
