Is anyone going to be at Infineon this weekend, Nov. 10th??? - SRT Forums

Well, today I signed up for an HPDE at Infineon Raceway with NASA this weekend, November 10th. I started prepping the car, inspected everything, changed the oil and emptied the catch can, checked the injector o-rings, checked the spark plug gaps, bled the brakes, cleaned the air filter, changed the PCV valve, and a few other odds and ends. Going to double check the alignment settings tomorrow, get it tech'ed and then I think she will be good to go.

Here it is in all of its mean glory...

We havent been on track since May, so it is about time. I am going to try and sign up for my time trial license this weekend so that I can start competing next season. Anyone else going to be attending?

Also this will be my first time on track with the KW Clubsports and my new wider 245/40/17 Hankook Ventus Rs3's (previously ran 235/45/17 Hankook Ventus Rs3's). I cant wait to make these things sing to me!!!

Good prep list.... Check your front wheel bearings and replace the brake booster check valve too....

Nice!! Seems like a great prep list. Just a n00bie tip, take the car easy in the beginning and let the tire/track temps get to a better level and slowly ease the car into a more demanding state.

Also, are those body panel stickers removable or permanent?

Not sure I have ever seen a permanent sticker!

Didn't make it to the dust bowl this year... About two weeks ago I got a nasty eye infection and there was no way to make it. Had to go to the doctor every other day to keep an "eye" on things... LOL

The times posted were horrible. It's almost embarrassing that all those locals are so Damn slow!

They are just vinyl stickers. They come off pretty easy.

Yeah this will be my second time at Infineon. I worked out most of the kinks last time so I will be pretty good to go this time. One thing is for sure is that I will never disrespect this track as it will allow you to tow your car home instead of driving it. Unlike other tracks that are a little more open and mistake friendly. Thanks for the tip, though.

Damn! What a bummer! Well, I hope your eye is getting better. I am waiting to hear when you get your track record back from there.

I was debating heading down there just to watch and see the car in person. That is when I got a wild hair and checked the NASA website to see if they were having any events recently and BAM!
