he admits on straight aways i'll take him... but he says if we go canyon running he said i have absolutly no chance..bcuz he raced a basic srt4 on the canyons and owned him...
he says my shit suspension wont be able to keep up with his tein coilovers..
me having the srt4 ego said NO WAY I'LL OWN U.
but wat do u guys think?? i noe its a driver race but car and mod wise.
alright this is kind of a dumb question and the answer is "drivers race"
but i jus wanted some input....
You answered your own question. The better driver will win.
My imput is you should also list which tires you both have since it's more important then which springs or coilovers you both have.
It sounds like he has a better suspension with the components you listed. However, if he has no clue on how to set it up then the best parts in the world only look pretty.
Definitly depends on drivers, and balls , and which driver has a clue about how to set up their suspension. As said before those coil-overs may only allow him to slap a tein sticker on his ride for you to read as you take him when you get a better exit from a nice corner. Be careful out there, id challenge him to a sanctioned event and spend the 25 dollar entry fee at a local auto-x before i risked wiping out a family o' four as im commin around a corner on the wrong side because its a faster line not flaming just gotta throw that out there bro.

Your right about wiping out a family on the street, keep it to an event.
As far as handing with an SRT, I have one with the performance sway bar and some neg camber in the rear.Last year I got to run The Tail of The Dragon with the Honda S2000 club and it was no contest as my SRT just overpowered the Hondas. They could hang with me in the corner, but coming out of the corner I was gone.
I'd say do back-to-back runs through the same canyons... one run you in front, one run him. No passing. Whom ever can pull away on either is the better driver+car combo. Otherwise +1 on the sanctioned AutoX event. Make the bet as the loser pays both entry fees.

What else needs to be said?
other than...
quicky4, making PTP look more reputable than Rage-Tek every day.
large difference, auto-x is low speed precision driving where you RARELY get out of 2nd, however many of the same principals and skills apply to both.
i promise you will never have as much fun in 2nd than at an auto-x
if you drive a car set up for an autocross on the street with higher speeds, you better be very fucking careful. Most good autocross setups are so on edge and tail-happy that it's unbelievable.

+1
i lost my last srt due to that same mistake, i left my auto-x adjustments and set out on a trip, ended up movin pretty good around a right hander with shittay pavement and the ass gave just like i like it, at least when im dodgin cones, unfortunatly it made for a bad night for me. so remember kids, always take the time to adjust, or at least remember how its set
