Default Would this do anything?

I'm going to the track soon and i'm pretty much stock. I was just wondering if putting some crushed up dry ice at the bottom on my stock airbox would help cool it down? maybe idk just an idea i came up with when i was at work cutting dry ice for 4 hours

Default ummmmm....

bad idea - dry ice = C02.....so, you now have C02 in the airstream (as it melts and turns back to C02 gas) which will mess with the a/f ratio - not sure how C02 would react with fuel, but C02 puts OUT fires.

Now what WOULD help...if you can get the dry ice on top of the intercooler to cool the air charge - that would help and not get into the airstream.
