2.4L rebuilt with SRT-4 internals. 41TE Automatic Transmission. Full interior, car weighed in at 3425lbs with me in it (I weigh 189lbs). Super 20G turbo running at 22psi on E85.
That run was on street tires. It would have been faster, but I think I am having problems with my transmission. It threw a P0740 "torque converter clutch circuit malfunction" later in the day. I'd suddenly lose about 1000RPM, if I let off and got back on it, it'd keep open. Wideband datalog shows the RPM drop happening for almost a full second. Happend twice on the 1st run, then 3 or 4 times on every run after that. CEL didn't come on until I was just cruising around town later that evening. Car drives fine, shifts fine, doesn't miss any gears or slip going in an out of any gears, the RPM drop only happend at WOT at the track. So hopefully it's just a solenoid. I think the torque converter was locking in the middle of the run, causing the RPM drop, when I let off and floored it again, it unlocked and kept going.
2nd run I switched to slicks, got a nice 8x10 glossy of my burnout from the track photographer. Sorry the scan sucks..
Nice run!! Awesome for an auto. Crank that 20g up man, its good to 28-29psi easily as long as the tranny is ok.
That convertor lockup is a common thing in GM tranny's, they sell a manual switch override to make sure the selenoid always stays open or closed. But def. sounds like it is selenoid related.
Picture is dead sexy too, didnt realize what year your car was, I thought it was older (late 90's) dont know why.

I was trying to get the boost up higher, but for some reason if I set the duty cycle any higher than 75% on my Profec E-01, it spools later and makes less boost. Set at 75%, it was holding 22.6psi. Bumped it up to 80, and it only made 16. I still only have the 8-10psi or whatever the range on it is adjustable WGA that came with the turbo. I think I need to step up to the 15lb WGA or whatever the next one up is. I don't think my 750's will handle much more on the E85 I've been running. I'll need to retune for race gas to get 28+psi out of it.
Tranny issue is new... sent it off to AJ Berge to have him beef it up for me, supposed to handle 425 to the wheels through it. I need to call him up and see what he says about it, hopefully it's an easy fix. I had noticed the RPM drop issue tuning it on the country roads by my house, but I thought it was spark blow out since it only seemed to happen if I ran about 18psi or more. Regapped the plugs and it seemed to go away, but came back worse than ever at the track. Weird part is the CEL not coming on until I was just cruising down the highway at 65mph and hit a small bump.
Yeah the car is an '04 Sedan... I'm sure you were thinking of a late 90's Coupe or Convertible.
Yeah a 1.9 or better 60' would have been good for high 12's easily. Unfortunately I only got 3 runs in, and was more concerned with figuring out the RPM drop issue than working on a good launch. I'll definately have it in the 12's once I get this issue sorted out. Hopefully before the end of this season.
