Default traction on a sticky track..

okay, ran the car last night on the 1/8 and spun 1rst gear like crazy with wheel hop..i have agp mm but no tranny mount, do not have wheel hop on the street but im guessing the sticky track was the casue of this.. so i wanting to beef up my traction and completely get rid of my wheel hop. im ordering the n2mb's boost box/wot box today but not sure if running traction bars or lca's would be a better choice, right now slicks is not an option but looking into kosei's with bfg dr's...if this is the wrong section please move it...thanks in advance...

you need LCA bushings and a trans mount of sorts, the bwoody traction bar setup helps alot and is what i ran on my car. Be sure to do LCA bushings before bars, hope that helps

+1 on LCA bushings (prothanes), solid tranny mount (AGP), and the bwoody traction bars.

The LCA bushings made quite a difference in feel. The general verdict is that the Prothane ones are much easier to install.

If you are considering drag radials, then why not consider slicks? I'm curious as to why you've ruled them out already.

That's that I was wondering. I just picked up a set of M&H's mounted and very slightly used for $250 for my friend, I'm sure you could find a deal like that on the forums if you looked. Don't waste time with drag radials...
