To sway or not to sway?

I was told and have been doing alot of research on whether or not the front sway bar hinders the launch on our cars... or fwds for that matter....

I am looking for opinions and or facts if someone has removed theirs and improved their sixty foot times...

Why would it improve sixtys other than it's about a 20 pound weight reduction? Our cars transfer weight away from the drive wheels when we launch. Removing weight located over the wheels isn't going to help weight transfer at all.

the sway bar puts unwanted pressure on the control arms causing them to fight one another...

i have heard and been told that it helps the front wheel drives by major player in the ndra ... just wondered what other opinions were
