Ok so I have a stock turbo'd skittle with nearly full bolt on's, stock fuel system, and I will be getting a good clutch and a DSP and some slicks. I have BC Inverted Coilovers and I was wondering if I adjust the front all the way soft and the backs all the way stiff? How does this help? Also, on slicks how do you launch? Do you just dump the shit out of the clutch and what RPM's should I dump it at, at like 4k?
the rear set hard keeps the weight from transferring as badly and keep the weight on the front... where it is needed...
And when launching slicks do a second gear burnout in the water and run it out alittle and dump the clutch at about 5000 is where i did it... but every car is different... but make sure you have solid mounts and really need a traction bar setup with h brace...
Sure it will be "okay", but you're not gonna spin the tires as fast in first gear as you would in second gear, meaning they won't get as hot, and you more than likely won't hook as well. Then again you're working with a lot less power so you may not need to worry about doing second gear burnouts.

I always have done 2nd gear burnouts, even on stock turbo and stock clutch.
Get a N2MB 2-step and set the launch at probably 5K, I see most stock turbos launch there. Anything too low you will bog, especially on slicks.
As mentioned above set the coilovers to full stiff in rear and soft in front.
Alignment helps too. Find out how much your cars lifts when you launch at the line. When you go to align simulate the front end lifting with a jack and set camber to 0 and you can do toe at 0. I did my toe at 0.05, I didn't wanna put it right at 0. I wanted to keep a little feel in the steering wheel.
