Stock turbo and falken azenis rt 615 tires - my times

I have a set of Falken Azenis RT615 on the stock rims...

... this was my FIRST time at the track with this car but had a little practice on the street

My 60 ft's pretty much suck, if I launch hard all it does is spin so I slip the clutch and pretty much don't go full throttle until 2nd gear

2nd run of the night on lower than normal boost 18psi - http://pic70.picturetrail.com/VOL183.../317344614.jpg

turned up the boost to 20psi and adjusted the tune, car made more power but didn't fully hook until 3rd - http://pic70.picturetrail.com/VOL183.../317344620.jpg

So no 12's, but made a guy in a c5 vette feel shitty

Mods are K&N CAI, 3" Custom Downpipe and 3" Exhaust, Spearco big intercooler, AGP Wastegate, Walbro pump, PTP FPR and tuned by me with a Map Clamp.

1st run of the night trapped 105mph, upped boost and adjusted the tune than went 110mph

You definetly have the driver mod, wow.

2nd run, with a better 60", you were in the 12's for sure.
3rd run again, with a better 60', you were in 12's.

But you have shitty mph on your 2nd run, weird. Same for 3rd run, not that high.

EDIT : remove map clamp and put a stage1. You will get 112mph + i'm sure.

110mph is shitty? its summer and I am in FL I was happy with 110mph, the 107mph was on lower boost

Me, my friend, have same setup as you, except we have stage 1 without mapclamp, and we are trapping 112mph +.
Plus we live in Canada/Quebec, where there is a lot of humidy.

stage x has absolutely nothing to do with it

BTW the more you spin, the higher you are going to trap..a legit run with a 2.1 60ft or something and you are not going to be trapping 112+ on stock turbo. Going to the track spinning your ass off then claiming a 112+ trap is very misleading

yea and normally that statement is spot on...Most full bolt on tuned SRT's on stock turbo don't trap too far beyond 110 much less 112+. You have an outlier...some are on the high end, some on the low end...the average is however not 112+

all i know is theres plenty of 300+whp stock turbos out there and mine isnt one of em. if i can trap 114-116 then 112 isnt that hard.

you win...bolt on neons are 115 mph trap cars. If you go to a track on any given day thats where the majority/average number of bolt on SRT's are doing. I should never have contested your infinite wisdom....

Mapclamp = useless, except for NO code on stage 0. There is no need to lean the car on stage0/1.
