I'm gonna buy dr's and wheels before anything else because I spin too much. Do I need to do a burnout before the run with Dr's....if so, what's the best way to do a burnout on fwd at the track?....don't wanna look too silly.

hit the water box, spin the tires once, go up a bit...ebrake up and then rev the car up to like 4-4.5 rpms... dump the clutch and by then you should be doing a burnout. move the steering wheel left and right to distribute the weight evenly and get a good burn on the tires. Pull ebrake down and roll the car out of the burnout....

your tires should be sticky and warm by now.

we have found that on these the best pressure is between 16-18psi. you can go to 14psi but you might break axles if too much power and you have an '03

that is cold, these do not warm up the air inside like a slick does so the pressure doesn't change by much, trust me...I check them after every pass!

bizzare, I noticed that they did heat the air a bit. Right now I have them at around 12 cold but after a run they're 15 hot. but I will definately test out a tad higher pressure, I love to play!

we ran them at 12psi, got lots of wheel hop and the center patch was not contacting the ground. Now I have to say that I did not say how much they went up but they didn't change much at all.

when set to 16psi they went up to 17psi or so. anything lower than that the time suffered greatly. also did the MPH..

seems ABOUT RIGHTbut i get with my drag radials on ym 2004 today at sacramento raceway 2.22,2.310 range with the 17 inch rims with only 22 psi in front tires i was in the 97 degree heat lol ran a best of 13.9-14.2ish with stage 0 3 inch turboback exhaust and aem intake but i was having a vaccum line leak agp wastegate set to 14psi drop to 12 psi at redline so ya kinda mediocre results but the 13.9 was after i cooled car down and poured water on engine and ran it right after the heat was taking its toll on my car major heat out here in cali

use what it is recommended by the tire manufacturer for wheel size, it is your safety at stake here...
