Default Ran at ATCO tonight.

Beautiful night. Sh*tty track prep. Got about 8 or 9 runs in tonight. Best run was a 12.03@118.3 on a 1.89 sixty. I race at this track all the time and it was the first time I couldn't cut low 1.7 sixtys Met a couple guys from the forums tonight. Great guys but Im not good with names. One of the guys ran a best of 12.49 in a yellow skittle. Dont think he lost a race all night. Another guy was a first timer and ran a 19 something on his first run. in his white skittle. Eventually got it down to 14.5. Not bad for a first timer. My best race of the night was against an 89 Mustang GT. 125 shot on a built motor. We got to talking and found out both cars were capable of high 11's so we lined em up. I Think I got in his head because he was only trapping 110 with a 1.5 sixty. I told him if he didn't outlaunch me it was over for him because I was trapping 118. Needless to say he blew the tire off trying to outlaunch me and ran a 13 flat to my 12.1. Nice way to end the evening. I'll post up some slips and a few videos tomorrow after i have time to edit them.

It was nice to meet you at atco last night bluebeast. I'm also horrible with names as I forget yours. I did make my best pass that night on the e1 it was a 12.49 at 112.69mph with a 1.95 60'. I was happy with that time. Next track times will be with a realtune externally gated race manifold and a 3"o2 housing. I'm shooting for 11's on slicks.

Yea, I was there last night and heard a few folks complain about the track. I have a twisted shifter cable and my 19.1 run was due to not being able to get into 2nd gear at all. lol, I managed to get it down to a 14.5 @99mph with a r/t of .197. Still not what I'm looking for nor what I should be running but as soon as I get this cable issue fixed, I should be golden.

Hey Angrygreek.. I wish I caught you last night because I have the Maddog 80% as well and have been wanting to see how someone else's maddog sts felt. I am almost 100% sure my shifter issue is cable related but just have been curious.

Yea dude I think we made a pretty good showing for the SRT-4s in the street car class. I was thinking about jumping in line with the big boys . Some of them were even running in the 12s. I got a video of you making a 12.8 pass. As soon as I get them edited up. I'll post em.

You might have an issue with your cables or something because my STS is butter. Best thing I ever bought for my srt. Never missed a gear in my 4 runs last night!

Marc I think once you get your issues ironed out you'll be on to something. Your trap speed was real low for your mods. I would have expected 104MPH traps. I dont know how much of that was the shifter. But get it fixed up. Next time I see ya there I'll be expecting some solid 13s

Yea we definitely did. You probally would have hooked up better if you ran in those lanes because they let you in the groove. I think all of those guys were running sticky tires so you would have had some nice rubber laid down in those tracks.

When I had stage 3 it hit so hard off the line that when I went to street nights my best 60's were high 1.8s to high 1.9s. I would run 12.0 -11.9@120 with my pump gas tune. : (
