This is true as well. What I truly want to put in there is a 2jzgte with corresponding six speed. But you have to be rich to get that in good shape.

Yep. The welds and everything need to be done right. The whole chassis of the SRT is the frame, so that leaves some room, which is why I bent the rear bars rather than straight down the middle into the trunk.
