Default need help how to launch

anyone here knows how to launch an neon srt-4? i just got my srt-4 a couple a weeks ago, n i cant find the right rpm to launch at. im new to the neon world n i new to the racing world. i think my srt is stock. i run two winter tire on the front, so dont know if thats too much grip. i need help on how to make my baby launch without hopping. can anyone tell me how you lauch ur srt?

get solid motor mounts to reduce/ eliminate hop. wheel hop will cause broken axles. after that you just rev it up to 2000 rpms and ease out the clutch quickly, do not drop the cluch, but do not ease it out to slow.

hey thanks i'll try it when i get out of work. n is the solid motor mount cost alot?

x2 on solid motor mounts - you can buy them from modernperformance.com - get the agp dog bones but be prepared for more vibration in the cabin with motor mounts - if you dont want a vibrating cabin then get motor mount inserts - inserts should be more then fine for you running bone stock

also your best bet is to start learning how to race from a roll (a.k.a) slow start going 20-30-40-45mph ect..

yeah, u're right on the roll. but i been doing that and think i got it down. now just need to start how to pick up on the hole
