Default need help

i went to the track a few weekends ago and only managed a 13.4 @ 107... with a 2.0 60ft

my setup...stage 3 on pcm boost 20psi, external wastegate, act street disc, 3in 02 housing, mopar cat back, acr struts set to soft up front and hard in the rear...slicks are 24.5 - 8x15... i was running on HOM...

the car didnt pull for crap...it pulled harder on street tires...i think the clutch was slipping which is BS cause it is 2 months old...

i launched at 3600 to 3800 with my 2-step... i heated the slicks up with 2nd gear burnouts...

WTF?

i dont think that i would heat the slicks up enough using 1st and id be afraid of getting wheel hop and breaking an axel

i've done first gear burnouts all the time and they work great. 1.9 60fts. On cheater slicks and haven't broken an axle. You're more prone to wearing out your clutch than anything. My friend went 12.5 with stock turbo, first gear burnouts, and street disc.

Did you hold HOM thru the entire run? If HOM is kicking out it'll pull mad timing and ruin a run. A stage 3 should trap at the very least 114.

it held for the 13.4 run i think but most of the time it would kick me out in 2nd when it felt like the clutch slipped...

so what i did was launch in dab 2 without HOM and when i hit 3rd gear i put it in HOM and it held all of 3rd and 4th till i crossed the finish line
