I have the rex inserts for the topper and lower mounts and they work just fine launching at a high rpm.
![]() That's how I managed a best 60' of 1.813 I'm trying to get someone to host the slip.

So either do your motor mounts or launch softer... |

I definitely agree with you blackdragon...there is no way in hell I would launch that hard without solid-filled motor mounts or solid inserts.
IMHO I wouldn't run slicks unless I had one or the other.

He told us after his run he didn't rev it to redline, but of course he has a little bit more modifications than we do. I was damn impressed it being his first time using slicks and all.

Yes, I want a MOPAR TATOO also!
Yesterday, (at Hallsville) I pulled a 13.684 at 103.63 and launched at 800rpm. I got a 60ft of 2.163. It was the last run of the day and I was having problems getting the tires to heat up (burn out)! I tried in 2nd and was just glad to get smoke. I wasn't even thinking about the run. BTW, I was only pushing 13 psi. Did you guys finally get a boost controller, or do you still think Stage 1 psi is enough?

Did not spin grabbed HARD and bogged a little for maybe 1/2 a second. Forgot to shift at end of track hence the 13.000 @ 102. Oh it was a 12sec pass, but i f---ed it up. Im still pissed about that. My 22"ers had no more than a 13.000 in em they spun and were to small. I ran 1.8's on them. Wonder what kind of times youll get with 6" wide slicks?? Keep me posted if they dont spin at all maybe ill get a set. |
