Default Found: Lightweight 15X7's with caliper clearance!

If anyone is interested, I just bought 2 centerline storms in 15X7 for my 235/60/15 M+H DOT's and the wheels clear the calipers without spacers. They are light (I think 13#'s according to centerline) and cheap ($278 shipped for both from centerlinewheels.com). I have to run spacers anyway for my tires to not hit the strut, but in case anyone was wondering, they do clear without them. If your going to run the 225/50 BFG's there should be no clearance issues without spacers.

Those aren't a bad looking wheel. I've been running the Kosei K1 Racing which are also 15x7 and have never had to use a spacer (these exact wheels have also been ran on a couple other SRT-4's as well without problem). They're a +38mm offset and weigh 13.5 lbs. The Tire Rack has them listed at $129/each. They've also got a few other desings around the same price and specs, so there is a decent selection of lightweight wheels out there.

That's good to hear. I have 17x7 Storms and really like them. A matching pair of 15x7s for slicks have been on my wish list for a while.

Rota is now going to be stocking the 15x7 slipstreams. I just got 2 of them in for my SRT. There was a group buy on neons.org for them and Rota basically custom made them for us in 5x100 35mm offset and 15x7. Now that there is interest rota said they are going to start making them. I put them on my UPS scale I have for shipping with the center cap and they weigh 12.6 pounds without it 12.5 pounds. They are supposed to be in the 450 shipped for 4 rims so about half that for 2 rims. They said it's going to be a few weeks before they have them made again. But this is another cheap and lightweight option. There is pictures on the neons.org thread it's in the dealers section torwards the end of the thread....

Also note that 26.0X8.5X15 MT Slicks won't fit. Not even with a 5mm spacer. That is on a Stock Suspension.

You'd need some Coilovers to get the 26.0X8.5X15 to fit. No point doing it if they won't fit.
