Yeah I'm trying to figure out how to order a set of Kosei K1's
as I hear they are on closeout.

A friend has them on his car, and says they are a 15" 5x100 with a 38mm offset.

I called the tire rack and the dork on the phone said he can't look up wheels specs, he needed to know what car it would fit.

Well if their database is based on what vehicles, and I can look it all up on the net then what is the point of his job?

Grrrr.....

Who do I call that I won't get some dummy on the other end of the phone.

If you want kosei K1s, call Tires23 in mississauga. I enquired about them about a month ago, and they could get them.

They also know their shit, and should be able to get you specs.

what are the stats of the PT steelie? 15x 7 with what offset?

IM trying to see if i can get some discount tire rims that would fit 24.5x 8 MT slicks without spacers.

They are 15x6 but will fit the slicks perfectly. According to John a wider rim may cause clearance issues. By the way discout tire says there PT steelie rims cant handle speeds over 75mph. I dont know if its true, but they refused to sell them to me if I was going to buy them for anything but Snow tires. I just went to mopar and bought a pair, although they arent cheap. There are cheaper rims out there, and lighter ones but you will have some that wont fit. Try them before you buy them. The kosies that were perfect in cost, weight, and clearance are no longer made.

I was wondering if anyone has actually tried or seen these 8 inchers before? Weight is not listed, but the 7 inchers are pretty light. What kind of problems would the 40mm offset be? Thanks for the help.

You'll need at least 5mm spacers to put any sort of big rubber on those wheels.

Anyone got some updated info on options for 15x8 5x100 wheels?

Well, I kept searching and searching trying to find something in an 8 that would work. It's pretty much like everyone says, that nothing off the shelf will fit. Those slips are available at subydude. I was hoping someone had bought them and had some feedback...or something new came along.

I found some 15x8 5x100 in a 20 or 40 offset.

This one is for stoaway or evo77 , will the 20 offset clear the stock brakes? they are rota slipstreams
