Gsrhunter you also gotta remember Honda trannies are far more fragile than the SRT tranny. Thats not tp say Honda trannies cant handle abuse...im not saying that cause i know of many regular neons seeing 400-500whp on the stock tranny

Just wanted to says thanks to the OP for this thread, helped me a lot last night at my first track experience. My car is completely stock performance expect a AGP CAI and my best run out of 4 was:

60' - 2.31
1/4- 14.35
MPH- 98.03

That was on 5 month old 91 octane(just pulled it out of storage) and put 23psi in the tires and a 1800rpm launch. I ended up grinding 4th on that run so I think I could have pulled a 99mph on a clean run.

No WOT shifting, don't feel it's worth the risk.

Now I need to install the garage full of mods and get back out there.

It's a bleed inserted on the WGA line as a crude way to raise the boost.

IMO, you're better off buying an AGP WGA and/or some form of boost controller.

Default Very helpful

Wow....if I only I had read this on Friday before taking my srt 4 to the strip on Saturday! Luckily I didn't break anything but I did have a problem with my clutch over heating....probably from my bad driving. My first time ever running and I was running consistant 15.6.....not great. Definately had problems with spin and hop on the launch. This thread has been really helpful and I hope to do much better next time.....thanks!
