Mustang: Vortech V2 SQ sc with powerpipe, mild cams, smaller pulley, full exhaust, full throttle body intake plenum, professional tune, and a few small other things. Making around 10lbs of boost
My car-NSRT4: mopar intake, hks bov, and hallman pro boost controller hitting around 18-19lbs of boost
Last night we were just messing around and I figured I was going to get obligerated cause I raced him before with the supercharger on without the cams and he beat me bad. But that was during the summer and down here in Florida we've recently gotten some decent weather with very low humidity. Anyways we raced from about a 40 roll, both nailing the throttle at the exact same time. When we hit it he pulled but not as hard as I would of imagined. We went to about 115 and when I had the moments to see what lbs of boost I was at, to my surprise I was around 19lbs which I think is good and all as well. The race came to conclusion with the mustang only edging me out by about a car/car and half.
I texted my buddy and told him I was very surprised and that I thought he should of beat me by a ton more lengths, I mean I figure Im fairly stock and a half way decent driver as well. Before he had the supercharger it was a pure drivers race. . .13.6 to mine 13.7 at the track was the best we had ever done before he got his supercharger installed and everything. It seemed very interesting to me and I am now doubt not bashing on his stang but it just surprised me.
LMK if any of yall have had any similiar accounts with a fairly stock NSRT4.

So is your next race gonna be a roll race or a drag race?
ET and has more to do with driver skill than power.
if you both ran your listed times consistantly, he will beat you. lets just assume he you guys cut close to the same 60' time, you will lose!!! he's gonna out mile per hour you. doing 115 in a roll race is not impressive at all, do that in only a quarter mile and your talking.
dude you say he beat you by a car and a half? That's a football field on the drag strip.
Well I don't think it would necessarily be football fields. A lot of my friends that have cars similiar to that stangs output don't pull on much either and yes I know about ets and all that I've been going to the track for years and years now sometimes 3x a week. But his car with that supercharger has only run a best of 13.2. If I'm running my consistent 13.7 its not football fields.
looks like your car is pulling some timing 19psi on a stock car lol. the mbc is hurting any chance of you holding boost.

well the only thing that is different on my car now is that its not a humid as it was. I noticed that over the summer here it was hard for me to hit 16 lbs of boost, but now that season has finally changed my car is definitely a lot better then it has. My friends stang is no slouch either. Idk though maybe just got lucky that he didn't beat me by more. And yes if it called for it we would of gone to more then 115.
I got on my car again today on the way to UCF and like I said before it just feels like a new car. I will check things once I get the chance too but I feel as if it is running just fine.

If you leave him at the three, your timer will start before his does, but he may run you down on the big end of the track!! At the track what matters is who gets to the line first. So you could run a faster ET and still lose.
according to what you posted, he picked up 4/10th of a second with the addition of the super charger.
what is his mph when he ran the 13.2 and what is your mph when u ran 13.7?

Was that 13.2 with slicks? If he's on slicks and can drive that car, it should be in the low 12's. When I had my srt4 w/just a kinetic wga, bfmic and a injen cai, wot 19 drop to 15psi, my srt ran a 13.5 at 105mph on street tires. I ran a 06' mustang gt w/just a cai and I only had him by a car from a 60-120 roll. With his sc he should have put more then just a car to 1.5 w/what little mods you have done. But good job hanging in there.
