Default Do different tracks in the same area

affect trap speeds? I have an 05 skittle with a FM WGA, MPx BFMIC, AGP Hardpipes /w HKS SSQV BOV, Needswings Catless Downpipe with cutout, Injen SRI, and BC Coilovers and at my shitty track I run 8.9's at like 82mph. Is this a good trap speed or no? I do NOT wot shift yet. How much more mph should I pick up with a DSP tune in the 1/8th and 1/4th? Also when launching on slicks do you slip the clutch fast or dump it? I hear if you dump it then you will bog out... Is this true? Thanks for the help

It's possible that ETs and trap speed could be affected. A few factors like track prep, altitude, pavement type, etc. I'd say thats pretty good. I think my best 1/8th was 8.83@83 give or take with 3" exhaust and MP Stg 2 WGA.

I have no experience with a DSP, so I can't help ya there.

I've never run slicks, but I've heard that slipping too much with slicks will burn the clutch up.

i dump the clutch from about 4200 rpms with slicks... no bog just grabs and goes but i'm still on stock turbo with low hp (262whp and 289wtq). If i try to slip the clutch with slicks it bogs out or i end up with a hot clutch and it won't go in gear.
