tighten the e-brake and/or dump the clutch for a second.

Well I think the e-brake is tight enought cause its not like the back tires are spinning the entire car is just moving forward. Like I have to much torque or somthing??

power over weight, just have to keep those tires loose. if you give the car a chance to hook up it will drag those back tires. watch that too, cause it will give you flat spots....good luck

Make sure your rear wheels are OUT of the water box. That tends to pull you out faster. Shit, just do a burn out like some retards... just do it IN the water box. LOL!!!

I have a hard time getting mine to stay in there too! E-brake up as high as it will go! Pulls it right out of the box, dragging the back tires!

I don't even use my ebrake... There is a trick that is part of the driver mod. It first starts with you staying completly out of the water line UNLESS you have slicks. Go around it! Water is used for slick tires because they are so sticky from the soft rubber and low tire pressure. Water coats them making them not so sticky briefly so you may heat them up with a burnout, it just makes it a little easier without the risk of breaking something from your torque.

My trick is.. and pay attention, with street or DR tires !after going around the water line! I pull up about half way to the start line and with my coilovers tight and my tire pressure about 21psi, I'll get myself a little momentum in reverse and slam it into first popping the clutch. I then quickly and carefully turn my wheel side to side getting my tires as evenly heated as possible. You will see your times drop significantly at your 60ft and in the quarter. You may even get a new top mph by doing this.

Launching... try launching about 2500rpm or just under. You'll find the sweet spot somewhere in between 2300-3000.. your doing your burnout and launch at the highside and will you just keep spinning.

Let me know if this helps you at all next time. I learned by watching and doing no worries you will get better at it.

Is there any way to get rid of the flat spots on the back tires from doing burnouts?

X2 ^^ I had slicks that day at the track and was in the water pit and still couldn't get them to spin I just drag them back tires. And what if you don't have adjustable coilovers??? Now for the e-brake tightening the e-brake wont do anything because its not like our back tires are spinning!! Your pulling the car forward.

yeah but if you have streched the brake cable it wont grab the brakes as well so maybe if you tighten it it will hold the brakes better for you

when im in my drive way i have to really pull up on mine so my car wont roll down the drive. thats the reason for me wanting to tighten it. we'll see what happens

x3 on abusing the transmission. Your driver mod FTL

I thought it was useless to burnout streets and was actually less efficient?

what works for me is doing a 2nd gear burnout have you guys tried doing that with the ebrake all the way up. (i am on slicks) i pull up to the water box and spin my tires to get all of the slick covered in water pull out of the water box. pull the ebrake all the way up and put my car into 2nd gear. rev up to about 4000 (keep in mind i also have a act 6puck sprung clutch u will kill your stock clutch doing this if u have one but this is the only way i know of doing a burn out with slicks) and ease off the clutch not redlining the car i basically floor let off lil floor let off lil and so on so forth when i see smoke i pull down the ebrake and spin to the line. hope this helps. btw i did this three times with the stock clutch and on that third run my clutch was done it would rev and not catch in third gear until i was about 4000rpms haha .
