Well like my sat. post read, I went to another local airport drag race event.
The times they give are never even close to being correct, I've raced my modded CBR 600RR there before and was running 12's
But anyhow, acording to thier timeslips which mean nothing to me, but are helpful in weeding out people in the same time frame, I was running 14.5- 14.8 on about 12 runs.
Heres what I beat up on.....
Later model Tibron v-6 Supercharged with slicks
Eagle talon TSI awd
Brand new Mazda Speed 3 ( About 5 times, killed him bad )
1st race of the day was a guy in his later 50's with a modded 80's Mustang GT, smoked him , never saw him the rest of the day.
Another SRT-4 with a 50 trim AGP, beat him the first time, 2nd time I was asleep at the line he got me by a car.
Last race was a new Chevy SS Truck, needless to say he played me, he had it supercharged, got me by about 1/2 car, was not exspecting that.
Had a great 2nd day of actually drag racing the SRT, now to get to a real track and get a real NHRA certified time...........
A 50 trim would over power the stage 2 injectors unless he tuned the boost down. If he was running full boost I'd bet the PCM was pulling timing because he was running lean. And you are absolutley correct a win is a win. Nice to see I'm not the only old guy running around in a skittle drag racing like a kid.
