Default Any guesses?

I'm going to the track this weekend hoping for a better time and alittle more mph. I'm looking for some taller/wider tires before I go. Last time I ran a 13.28@110 with a 2.21 60ft and my highest mph was 112. I was running 19psi peak falling to 16. Since then I fixed a boost leak and uped the boost to 23psi falling to just under 20 by redline. I may try to strap the front end with ratchet straps since I don't have any kind of sticky tires. I'm hoping for a 13.0-12.9@115-116. You guys think I'll get there or is there anything I should try that may help me get there?

Mods?

If your on the stock turbo, the 23 PSI might hurt more than help. The PCM might start to pull timing. But plenty have ran that much so, who knows.
What has always seemed to work best on my car is a 18/19 spike.

I'd have to agree with the above statement. What does your Air/fuel ratio look like running that much boost on a stocker?

well the more horsepower you have to the wheels the less traction you will have. I say that you will stay in the low 13's range unless you can get that 60ft down. get some slicks and take the full effect of your mods.

Get some slicks, you're really wasting your time trying to get any significantly better ET's with street tires...

I would but I'm broke as I was in a car wreck and suffered a broken foot and ankle and was off work from 4/1 to 6/7 of this year. So I'm lucky I can do anything to my car at all. Slicks are slot more expensive then street tires and these tires were 50 apiece.

that 20g is more than capable of holding more than 20 psi to redline, based on your modlist i dont see a reason you shouldnt be trapping in the high teens on pump, whats your tune with the dsp look like timing wise. That 70mm throttle body is overkill for your setup IMO. Im sure others will agree

I know I'd like to hold more but I don't have an ebc I'm just using the wastegate for control right now. The tb didn't cost me anything as I traded my stock turbo and exhaust manifold for it. If I can talk another local guy into letting me borrowing slicks for a couple of passes I would but his slicks are just 22" tall so I'm not sure how much they'd help on the big end.

Not only could I not get ahold of the guy with slicks but I couldn't find a single tire shop with anything wider then a 205. My quickest pass ended up being a 13.42@112.02 with a 2.29 60ft. But my fastest mph was a 113.55. I sprung a boost leak right after the 113 run as it would only hold 17-18 to redline instead of the 19-20 it was before so now I got find the leak fix it. And on top of that it started grinding going into third. I won't be returning to the track till I get the tranny fixed, fix the boost leak, get a wot box and a boost box to turn it up to hold 24psi and find at the very least some dr's to put on it.
