Wish I had good news, but today was a complete BUST!
I am only able to say that I'm glad the car is still running. I believe I got a bad batch of fuel in the car today. The car should have blown up on at least 2 separate occasions.
I was making a pass down the track, and while in 3rd gear, noticed the car started breaking up in the higher RPMs. Soon as I shifted, it went away. On the next run, it was the same thing.
I went and looked at the logs, and about shit a brick. I was running in the 13.x:1 AFR's at 30 PSI. I also noticed a decent amount of knock present in the logs. As stated, I'm surprised, and very relieved that the motor held together.
Yesterday, I was running the car on the street with some of the OLDER gas I had available, and it was running great. 11.7 AFR's @ 30 PSI, and the car pulled like a raped ape.
Today, I put in some fresh fuel, and had nothing but issues. It's the only thing that has changed since yesterday, other than a big oil filter setup I put on this morning.
So, sorry. I have no good news. I made 2 passes in total, and both were mid 11's, so not even close to last month's best.
