Arm chair racing. Break fewer parts that way.

Default get in sit down shut up hold om!!!

Any form of racing is balls out bad ass! I am a hardcore drag racer. I am newly into scca style racing on tracks. I am building a track only no holds barred miata. But the most fun and max pucker factor I have ever had is rally racing. Holy shit is it insane. I rented a scuby in vermont for a race and it was the most insane balls to the wall racing I have ever done. Combine drag racing, street racing, drifting, and road racing and there ya go. I am currently looking to build an srt4 rally car. (sponsors are welcome) If I get some serious feedback I might just scrap the whole miata project or trade it for an srt4. Any takers.

99 mita full cage, major weight reductions, all braided lines brakes fuel ect, brembo brakes front and rear 6 piston calipers drilled and vented rotors, ebc pads, spearco seats (yes 2) 5 pt simpson harnesses, Intercooled fm2 turbo charged race motor, 9800 invested in motor alone not including turbo, N2o intercooler sprayer, full cutom bent race exhaust, Lightweight clutch, carbon fiber driveshaft, race prepped tranny, coil over suspension from tein(race spec), ultra light hood and trunk, permanant hartop being installed as we speak, fuel safe fuel cell, batt relocated, ultima, 3 sets of tires and wheels street to slicks, much more but can't remeber it right now. Oh the car dynoed at 385 hp 375 tq. cutom engine mangement system(laptop based), this car is a beast!!! I smoked a 911 turbo and a 360 modena at hamptons raceway in ny. porsche by 2 seconds a lap, 360 by almost 4!!! and I was on cheeseball 14 in tires.

Also own 05 srt4 with bov as of tomorrow.
Any way now i am into rallying much more fun....

As much as I appreciate drag racing, since being involved in road racing I have a greater appreciation for physics and driver skill. There are many more variables in road racing that can affect control and time than drag racing. IMO

well i do both drag and road .and i do prefer road raceing maybe because i was born in france and i love going around corners at high speeds .but i just can't say i dislike drag its also fun feeling the g's on a launch and pulling the front wheels in the air and running 10's .but now days its all about skill and reaction times and head games with your opponent.
