the big balls.....is admitting that i've done this.

Secondly if its a set up race ..the area is scouted....We aren't talking rush hour racing

I have a set series of roads that i will push it on....they are safe.( as any public road could be) And breaking the law is part of the adrenaline rush.

Recently in my STATE the laws have changed......i do short bursts now...4-7 seconds to prove you have the faster car...... caught doing duoble the speed limit gets you a night in jail and impounding you car.

Hell if an exotic pulls next to my Z at a light and is reving...i'm gonna give it a go. maybe not to 150 but surely to 60-80 maybe 100.
i have common sense. I do let off at resonable speeds....and i have my 4 roads that i know are safe.
(these are non intersecting...long sweepers or switchbacks, and one is just plain straight.)

i haven't been in an accident in 10 years....can you say the same.

Funny you post this poll....yet you damn well know there are alot of high hp cars that "get on it , on the street. Even 50 y/o men are racing there Vettes, porshes and ferrari...olny to a certain extent.....

Its natural

Everyone here has street raced, and they loved it. Wheather its aprapo is a hole differnt subject.

You think i'm gonna let 3 fat ass Harley Chromed out super loud pipes..look over at me on my Busa and chuckle.....screw that 0-60 in 2.6 seconds........they need to see that to respect it. But i'm mature enough to know i won after reaching 70 and bring it down too speed limit.

If i ask any Srt4 owner....."have you ever raced on the street". the answer is always 100% yes..... otherwise that would have bough a sxt, or a gas sipping civic..

If you have a brain , you can make judgement call.....if your 16 i don't trust you.....if your my age. i enjoy my toys. I plan on being here for a awhile....and definitely not in court either.

Riddle me this, you have a car that can get to 100mph in the 7 second range.....For 7 seconds...you think you can't find a safe area. Add to the fact that i know what area's
are perfectly safe..... sory no Deers and no family minivans on the roads i've known for over 25 years. Familiarity is key to street running

Its illegal yes. So you NEVER broke the law ever

I'd like to think i have developed the skill and common sense when/when not to street race.

i let alot of "potential deadly races: go when its in any traffic ..Or not of one of my 4 roadways i know is about 98% safe

No excuses...No justifications....i know its against the law. But there will always be a prime time... that Evo thats been taughnting You..or Stang....ect ect.

And it feels damn good to win. A better adrenaline rush than the rules and safety of the track, Sure thats the safest but even there poeple will push it beyond..cause they have a false sense of "its at the track"

So don't judge me. Do you have any idea how many Cops are motorheads?? and they race on the street.( beleive me....that go right upto 100) You're "Its illegal" makes it the most adrenaline- addicting racing there is....and America has always street raced.

I just have the Balls to admit it...but i don't do it every time a tom dick or harry revs at me. I have my own rules. Suffice it to say since 99 no racing accidents Not even close.

then again i may ever race on the street....its cool enough to be challenged and watch them blow off tires and gas.

So you street race....ask Srt owners/ bikes Aprilla-Yamaha owners/ or especially ask a bunch of young cops (LEO'S)...they do it all too . A sheriff deputy( i know personally)with an Srt8 runs vettes and amgs all the time to 90 maybe 100....then backs off.

so reality....its something we all do , know its wrong ,but inevitably do! So admit it.
there is freedom in admitting it. Just don't get caught.

when i heard how many young cops do it....i was floored.

i like drag in most of my vechicles........especiallly the Zo6 and the auto GTO

not so much on the busa cause it can flip over... rolling runs n the 6 speed (06) GTO is awesome....although i tagged a paddleshift Z51 LS3 vette on a dig. but its so dependant on being dead on , one mistake in the 6 speed and yours toast

the Vette has the HP to make up for it along with the weight , so a snooze launch and massive torque band will reel most hot rods in....yes even turbo's

I kno most people hate it but why isnt drifting on there? Drifting has some of the most skilled drivers in the world if not the most. Rally requires skill, autocross-skill. I drag race the most and love it but anyone can drag race. Thats why drag is popular, its easy. So drag racing not so much skill, besides many people drive with automatic transmission and whats easier than holding the steering wheel straight and mashing the pedal. Point made.
