Default New Race Car!!

Just bought a 1984 Ford Escort to race in the ITC Class. I've done Drag and Autocross racing. I decided that road racing would be the best form for me. Because face it you want to RACE!! not wait to race. Drag racing do a run (even in a slow car) 14 seconds... wait, Autocross do a 2 min run...wait for your next run, road racing 20 min race then wait for a new race to last another 20 min. Just my thought. Even though this is what I plan to do I still love Drag racing and Autocross racing and will probably continue to do it anyway!!!

road race > autocross > drag for me.
Never rallied... I'm planning on drifting in the roadster next year, but have only gotten limited drifting time in (in parking lots late at night lol). Plus its not on the list so.... yea. road race = teh win..... I went to nelson ledges roadcourse once in the peon and it was the most fun ive had in my ENTIRE life. what does that tell you??

I dislike the dragstrip. The only thing I feel it is good for is attempting to work on your launches and get a moderate time that you can go off of when you start doing mods. As far as it being fun... I don't see it, especially when lines are long (as they usually are). But! It's ~$10-$15 to get in here, compared to $120 for ~6 hours at the roadcourse (with other people who aren't afraid to wreck their cars).

Autocross is on a preset track...and legal.

Last I checked, road racing is legal in every state...

I thought they should re-word the poll.

"What is your favorite type of racing, that you have actually tried?"

All those people who say drag or autocross, have most likely never been on a road course. I like all of thee above, but road course > *.

I think the original poll really meant "What form of racing do you like to watch other people do?" Either that, or there's a lot of people who are lying...

Nothing greater than getting on Hockenheimring or Nuerburgring when ever I can get away from work. Yes Nuerburgring is spelled correctly look it up.
