You can also do a lot with an SRT-4 for the same amount of money. The price difference that you got was also probably a fully stocked srt vs. a not so stocked GT. And the 230hp stock on an SRT is DEFINITELY not the end either. And that hp does better than the gt. I'm just saying with the srt you can do more with less hp. There's plenty of options with the srt as well (although i will agree i don't like the lack of color choice). Also remember that if you get a mustang you will have to grow a mullet and that's against army regs.
I know 230 is not the end, but 300 seems to be the factory end, which is what the GT starts with. 2900 lbs, however, is better than 3300+ lbs any day of the week.
I'm a civilian so the mullet thing doesn't apply. Your only allowed to have the mullet if the doors are different colors or you built the motor yourself out of lawnmower parts. In the end for me the GT was a better looking car. Lets hope they don't get rid of the SRT-4 tho.
That poll is funny and haunting , I just recently purchased a electric blue 2004
The reason that I went wiht it was based on the notion that we (friends and I) felt that we had'nt seen very many in that color....
i got a red one because i had never seen an srt4 before mine and really didnt start seeing a lot until early this year
