Default Tips for changing the rear bank valve cover

As the subject says- anybody have any tips? Its a 2003 2.7L V6 convertable, the one that is leaking is the rear/next to the firewall. I have replaced the plugs in the rear bank before and that was a PITA with 2 U-joints, so what is recommended for the VC?
