Default WTF! Tire Pressure Monitor Standard????!!!

Just got a Chrysler 300 Brouchure. To my surprise it list "Tire Pressure Monitoring System" for all models expect base 300 under "Standard Equipment" with "late availability". That is hard to believe - it is not listed under "Options". That would be terrible if early buyers do not get that for the same base price or does that mean the base price is due to increase soon when that is added. Hmmmmm?!

I have heard that due to new DOT regulations all cars must have tire pressure monitors. This video indicates that the 300 will get it soon:.

Again early car owners will not get that. If this is to be included in the current base price I wonder if D-C is going to do a retrofit on the cars that leave without it. I might get my dealer to write than up on my sales sheet.
