Update on special order 300C

I placed my order on 3/8 and as of today 3/29 I am still awaiting a build date and VIN. If demand spikes on these (as I expect it will) expect some serious price "mark-ups" for those willing to pay.

I need to turn my VON into a VIN and then get my Hemi!!

"Update 03/27/2004 – The number you can call to check the status of your car using a VIN or VON is 800-992-1997. I plan to call them fairly often"

that is correct here is how the whole status thing works, sorry i thought it was common knowledge other wise i would have posted it months ago.

Call 1-800-992-1997. The sequence that works is 1, 2, 5, 2, 3, your phone
number, 1.This brings you to a human who can update you on your order status.

BB - review by fleet department
BD - special equipment processing
BE - edit error
BG - passed edit n/a for schedule
BGL - edit ok parts unavailable
BX - passed edit available for schedule
C - sub firm
D - firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available
D - 1 gateline schedule - scheduled to be built
E - frame
F - paint
G - trim
I - built not ok'd
J - built ok'd
JB - shipped to body vendor
JE - emission check
JS - shipped to storage
KZ - released by plant , invoiced
KZL - released - not shipped
KZM - first rail departure
KZN - first rail arrival
KZO - delayed/recieved
KZOA - plant holds
KZOB - zone/distribution holds
KZOC - carrier delays
KZOD - carrier holds
KZOE - mis-shipped vehicle
KZOF - show/test vehicle
KZOG - damaged vehicle
KZOH - all other reasons
KZT - second rail departure
KZU - second rail arrival
KZX - delivered to dealer
ZA - canceled

Thanks for listing out the status codes. I only knew the codes that my car had already hit, but it's nice to know the rest!

Speaking of status codes, my car is listed as an "F" today. As listed above it's in the paint stage right now. That's a lot different than the "D" status it was at on Thursday. I'm not sure who lit a fire under whom, but my car is now being built. Woohoo!
