6.1 Hemi
larger axle gears (stock is 2.89:1)
dual exhaust
20-inch wheel package
tweaked suspension and so forth

and claims to run in the high 12s.

I hope it also has a sweet interior like the SRT-10 models do. Seats with Black Leather and Suede and SRT-8 logos would be very nice.

I am trying to get my friend to cough up the SEMA caper for this year. I hoping it will be the Charger in a SRT form.

Hemi, if the new charger is going to be at SEMA, then I can wait till Nov. I am going again this year.

There suppose to be a Magnum SRT unit that is in the works along with a force induction mini-van.

Expect a Gas Guzzler Tax (GGT) on this one. I read that the 6.1 liter Hemi will not have MDS and shut down to 4 cylinders.

If so, there would not be a GGT on the Magnum SRT-8 because it is classified as a truck.

Here are the GGT for Mercedes cars:

2005 C55 AMG - 367HP - $1,300
2005 E55 AMG - 469HP - $1,700
2005 SL55 AMG - 493HP - $2,100
2005 SL600 - 493HP - $2,600
2005 S600 - 493HP - $3,000

and:

BMW 760iL - 438HP $1,300
