As far as I know its illegal to put a remote start in a manual because you would have to disengage the clutch. Maybe I'm wrong...

Its not illegal, just most shops wont' do it for liability reasons. They don't want some idiot screwing up their car and coming back to sue them.

not only that but if you park the thing in gear and auto start it watch out BUCKIN BRONCO comin at ya. and trust me im sure some idiot did it. I had auto start on my accord that was stick and im in the process of haveing the viper 790vx Resoponder system with auto start put on my SRT4. it s all about how good your in with the shop.
