I was wondering when the release date on all 300s is. My parents car is built and is sitting and waiting to be shipped. I was wondering if anyone knew when dcx is going to release these cars, i want to drive this thing real bad. They ordered the first one from the dealer in des moines, and they still haven't gotten one of them in yet. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I have been told that the cars are arriving around the country now. Several people have reported that their local dealers now have some cars. I believe that dealers around the country will have them in the next few weeks. My car was built on the 29th, so I'm hoping that I don't have to wait too long for it!
I don't think it is a good idea to hold them until then because to have a good showing people are going to have to see these cars to really appreciate them.
Yeah the dealers around here are starting to get them....They have a 300 Hemi C for 34,600!!!!!!Thought that was a hell of a price so i figured i would post it.....
the reason that they are holding them is not to hold for a release date, but beccause they were having some problem with the launch of the 300 and Magnum, and they were holding everything they built to try and make sure they shipped problem free. I know this because I have a family member that is an enigineer with dodge. I have a Magnum that is supposed to be shipped on April 7th though, so they are now starting to ship everything. I hope that helps
When I say problems, it's not like anything bad is happening. With the launch of every new vehicle, there are always a few things that need to be resolved that the engineers couldn't anticipate, such as the line workers not being able to work as fast as they would like off of the bat, or the painting process not going as smoothly as possible. This is done for a few reasons, of course number one is to make sure that everyone get a car that is of the greatest quality, and second is that it saves them money because all of those cars shouldn't cost them any money on warrenty problems. So all of this is done so that you get the best car possible
I saw a pearl white (or could have just been white) on the freeway going North on I5. Looked pretty sweet but I didn't like the grill all that much. I looked at the plates and they weren't dealer tags it was a regular CA plate. Maybe they know someone who knows someone who robs people?

The dealer tells me that the car is sitting in a factory warehouse with no schelduled ship date. What you said about the line workers is true but the car is built and sitting there collecting dust. Let me go burn some rubber with it.
that's not cool that your 300 is sitting waiting to be shipped. this maybe is because they have identified a problem, and holding cars until they can fix the ones they have built. this happens all the time with new car launches, be patient, you will be tearing through sets of rear tires in no time
