Default Magnum RT / 300 C difference

Ok well as most of you know I am undecided as to what type of car I should buy next. But lately I started considering the Magnum RT over the 300C. My question is does Dodge back up the same warranty 7/70k like Chrysler? Also E55KEV posted where people who own the 300 will get a loaner when they service the car for 3/36k. Would this also apply for the dodge? Last, do you think a dodge dealership will treat you as well as a Chrysler dealership?

Thanks in advance. I welcome all comments and opinions.

Hey Undecided Guy,

Your question about the 7/70 Warranty, yes it applies to both. My dad works for a dealership here in So Cal, they sell Chrysler Jeep and Dodge, so everyone is treated same way, im sure its the same for all of them. As far as the loner im not sure about that one.

ok to clarify here the warranties on the two are exactly the same in every way except one. Only Chry will get the loaners (at least initially, in time this can easily change and may)

As for service in many area's the Chry dealer and Dodge are in the same building, but in some cases they are seperate even when owned by the same company. so service should be the same roughly

Personally in all my experience service blows at both. but yes i am still buying a 300c hopefully i will not regret.

Remember this - the 300 is Chrysler's attempt to move upscale or upmarket. The 300 is more of a luxury car and the Magnum is not. Dodge is marketed as a performance affordable brand.

Maybe those of us buying Magnums should buy them at dual dealerships and they may not blur the line between the two.

I think it also depends on the dealership you go to.

I brought my little daily driver Neon in for service last week and got a free loaner. Some 5 star dealers may have it as part of their "you purchase it here, you service it here" program.

I'd check with your dealer about their service perks.

Thanks guys for the response and advise. I agree that maybe servicing at a dealership that is larger and has both will probably be better. But now im leaning back to the 300C. I know some of you wanna kill me now and im sure ill change my mind 50 more times But I like both cars. Wish I can have both
