E55-Kev, i just finally "flamed" you in this thread because you have annoyed the sh*t out of me and everyone else with your statements acting like you are an all knowing god. you don't know sh*t. i like 22's on the 300 because "I" think they look good, not because i am looking to get pussy or props from some random person. i don't modify cars for anyone but myself. i don't care if people like my car because it is "My" car, not theirs. i don't need a car or a rolex to get fine snatch. sorry i don't own a 300, but i never claimed to. i am just an enthusiasts, like many on the forums.
It will never happen, just go buy a 350-400 generic hid kit and be done with it.
Who knows? But it is worth a try. If the market is there then it may happen. Obviously, someone at Sylvania and perhaps thru consumer demand thought if worthwhile to build a DOT approved HID kit for the Expedition, F-150 and Silverado.
Plus, did you know that those 350-400 generic HID kits you mention have been outlawed by DOT and NHTSA and fine is $5k per day for anyone selling them.
though i still don't understand why you would buy a car in the config you do not want, just shop around and find a car you want or order one and deal with the delivery timeframe. I am anal as hell and would not have taken my car with anything less or more than i demand
Yeah you are real Anal about this! He-He! Again, you are acting like everyone has the same or should have the same mentality in buying cars as you. Everyone does not have the same time frame for buying cars. The car we replaced had 250k miles on it and needed major work and waiting another year was not prudent.
To the majority it wound be foolish to wait 12 months for HID lights when they 'may' need or want a car now. You can shop around and still never find a car with HID plus the color and other options you want. We did it and could not find it. I searched all over the east coast and could not find it and when you find the car it does not mean the deal is there. There are many factors in buying a car and HID is not as paramount as you think and many people think that HID can be added at a reasonable cost and sometimes the salesmand tell them they can because everyone is thinking about those retrofit kits.
I know plenty of people that I recommend HID to and when they shop they can not always find one with it if HID is an option. One friend of mine wanted a 2004 Mercedes C230 Sport, had one with HID, took delivery, and another dealer offered the same car without HID for $3k less. She returned the car with the HID. To her the HID is not worth the $3k and to some the 12 month wait for HID is not worth it - but it does not mean they do not want.

You proved my point - you are an ASS HOLE A POSER AND A PUNK!
The ignorant should remain quiet and just stay in awe of those with something to offer! You opened up a level that you can not or never will be able to compete with on any level! So remain quiet and let the Grown-ups talk while you listen and learn, Sonny Boy!
How in hell are you going to make a statement for other forum members you Jerk:

You probably just get "annoyed" by anyone with more knowledge than you and that makes you feel less than a man, insecure, low self-esteem and mentally inadequate! He-He!
You should have been a Man and 'flamed' me in the post about 22" rims. You are just a "Hater" and have nothing positive or important to contribute to the forum. No one learns 'Jack' from you.
Now you post that you don't even have a Chrysler 300 when you list that you have a "300" in your forum profile. P-O-S-E-R!
I did a search on this forum and this is the only thread that I give my opinion about 22" rims.
would consider no larger than 20". 22 inchers is just too big and heavy.
In fact, the statement I made about 22" rims being mainly for "show cars" may not even be on this forum but on another forum where I was invited to Moderate. Perhaps my helpfulness is appreciated by some and the ignorant just do what they do best - HATE! Are you ENVIOUS? Looks like yes!
You probably are upset that no one responded to any of your posts:

No it wont because hid is a factory option on the 300c's. They will not be making a kit for the 300c, ever. The f-150's etc never had an hid option hench why they made a kit for them.

Uhm yes we all know that but you see I'm not selling them, I'm using them. Laws dont matter if they are not enforced. They have been banned since last october. But to be honest no one cares.
You can buy them and always will be able to thanks to the internet so its not an issue. If you didnt get the hid option on the 300c just go buy a $400 hid kit (misterjung.com, theimporthookup, ebay, etc.) and be done with it. Problem solved.
I agree - doubt anyone would make an HID kit for the 300C. However, the request is not for 300C. The original post says for the V6 300, which include the 2005 Chrysler 300, 300 Touring and 300 Limited and all 3 2005 Dodge Magnum models.
Personally, I am not just looking just for the HID look but the HID beam, usable light and safety benefit and usually adding HID to a headlamp designed for haloagen gets mixed results in beam pattern and usable light. I would also prefer a DOT approved setup.

But it's not an option on the 300, including Touring & Limited and on any Magnum's (SE, SXT, RT).
